VirtualBox 1.6.2 On Vista Running Fedora 9

I tried Sun's VirtualBox 1.6.2 on an Apple iMac running Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) first. So, today, I installed it on an old Athlon-64 PC running Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. I downloaded the 64-bit Athlon binary first. However, it told me that I wasn't using the correct platform. I assume that what this version requires running the 64-bit version of Windows XP or Vista (which makes sense). So, I installed the Windows 32-bit version next.

I took a Fedora 9 ISO file and used it to create a Fedora 9 Guest OS in Virtual Box. The installation went relatively smoothly. However, the VirtualBox Guest Additions for Linux did not completely install because of a conflict with the version of X11 Fedora 9 installs. This means that I have to use the right-CTRL button to exit the Fedora 9 Guest OS window. Annoying, but acceptable.

The next test is to take the VDI file containing the Fedora 9 virtual disk over to my Mac and see it runs there after transplantation.
