Dia - Open Source Diagramming Tool for Windows & Linux

I have to admit that I like Microsoft Visio and prefer to use it when a licensed copy is availble. However, if one is not available for you, you might want to take a look at the Open Source diagramming tool...

It is available for Linux and Windows (no Mac OS X version from what I can tell). You can find some screenshots on Dia's website linked here.

Dia can easily be installed

Dia can easily be installed with Fink or Darwinports. It will first have to install all the GTK and Gnome libraries, so be prepared for a longish download and a lot of disk space being eaten up ...

I found this new free and

I found this new free and open source software named Boulm (available here: http://bouml.free.fr/download.html) It works on Windows, Mac OS X, as well as many different flavors of Linux OSes. It is totally awesome for UML, and code generation. I personally think that it is better than so many other commercial tools out there, yet it is free :)
