...that lets you play Windows Media audio and video files on your Mac. This is really useful since many sites only provide Real or Windows Media streaming. I use it, for example, to listen to NPR streams.

Yeah, Flip4Mac is the greatest. MSoft had no plans to support WMV on Macs, but Telestream developed F4M and MS decided it was a good idea...so, they made a distribution arrangement with them. It IS unfortunate that most of the world offers their AV content in WMV, but we at least have a chance with F4M. You might check out their new DVD imaging app too...free right now in beta: HERE
