Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.0 (Beta)
Microsoft Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2.0 (Beta) was released on July 31 (expires March 31, 2008) and provides, well, what its name says. It let you connect to a system running Microsoft Windows from a Mac (OS X 10.4 Tiger only, sorry Panther users). It is especially handy for managing a Windows Server box remotely.

I am not a fan of this beta.
I am not a fan of this beta. In my tests it has been painfully slow (compared to the current production version). I have since started using TSClientX, which is a much better experience. Yes, it is an X11, so you have to dust off the Tiger installs if you haven't already done so. (I don't believe X11 is part of the default Tiger install.)
There is also a promising sourceforge project called Cord, but it still has some deal-breaking limitations for me. I had trouble with color depth settings, and resource sharing -- which you probably shouldn't do in this mode anyway -- is not implemented.
