SkyDrive Ups Its Storage to 5GB

Microsoft's Windows Live SkyDrive increased its storage limit from 1GB to 5GB as it shifted from beta to production. There are a lot of file storage sites on the web. And, I was surprised to find how often I turn to SkyDrive to storage pieces of my work (articles, screen capture files, etc.). It works pretty quickly and is easy to use. Although the drag and drop only works with Internet Explorer, file uploads using the less AJAXy single file upload works fine with Firefox on my Mac. SkyDrive has room for improvement. But, it has found a place in my toolkit as is. It gets a four Walrus (on a five Walrus scale) rating in my book.
