Google Calendar Syncs with Outlook but Now Hates Firefox (Erratum)

There is something strange going on in Google Land. The Googlelonians are making nice nice with Microsoft lately. First, they released Google Gears for Windows Mobile. Now, they release a tool to sync Google Calendar with Outlook. Ok, Ok, I know their motive is to make it easier to move off of Windows and Windows Mobile by providing this transition tools. But, still, consider this. Google Calendar no longer works in Firefox 2 for me. It goes into an endless loop there. But, Google Calendar works fine in Internet Explorer 7. In any case, the news here is that Google Calendar can now sync with Outlook. I guess this is so you can migrate your calendar from Outlook to Google Calendar which will evetually sync with Google's Android phone platform. Nice plan. Should be interesting to watch all this unfold over the next year or so.

UPDATE 2008.03.06: Google Calendar now works with Firefox again.

Google Calendar works fine

Google Calendar works fine for me in both Firefox 2 and Firefox 1.5. Are you sure it's not one of your extensions causing the problem ? Have you tried starting Firefox in safe mode ?
