TwitPic: Photo Links for Twitter

I don't think I'm addicted to Twitter. But, I do tend to tweet several times daily. And, I enjoy sharing a photo of, for example, things I see when I take a walk downtown during my lunch break. While Twitter itself doesn't have a photo sharing feature, there is a simple to use 3rd party web service that provides this feature for you. It is called...

TwitPic

You can either upload a photo from your local hard drive to the service or send email from your phone with a photo attached. Either method results in a Twitter tweet with a link to your photo. If you click on Home on the TwitPic command bar, you can see an archive of photos submitted via TwitPic.

Thumbs up for this great Twitter-adjunct service. Now, if only Twitter itself could stay up and running for more than an hour or two at a time :-)
