TextWrangler 2: Mac Text Editor

If you ever want to waste a lot of time, bring up the topic of favorite text editors in a group of software developers.

Even though I have a couple of favorite text editors, I'm always looking at other editor just in case they do something better than the ones I'm using.

Here's a freeware text editor for the Mac that might be interesting if you are one of those people who keep looking at other text editors too.

I don't see Ruby in the list of programming language syntaxes supported for highlighting and function navigation. I wonder if end-users can add programming language support? It looks like a pretty strong (and free) editor for Mac OS X though and worth for me to take a few minutes to download and try out.
