Windows Phone 7.5 camera imaging software vastly improved (macro example)

The photo to the left was taken using an HTC HD7 running Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango). The same phone took “OK” but not great photos prior to the update (when running Windows Phone 7). However, Microsoft and/or HTC must have done something with the imaging software in Mango because the photos the phone has captured lately look a lot better to me than it did a few weeks ago. I am especially impressed by the improved macro ability. The photo here is unretouched except for cropping. Yes, it could stand a bit of retouching in the way of saturation and contrast. But, I think it looks very good.
